Gramps

My grandfather, Leonard Crafton, was and still is my hero. He lived in Birmingham, Iowa, his entire life, and died on March 5, 2013, at age 79. People called him "Hard Rock", but not very far beneath that hard exterior was a man who expressed his love for family and friends through the many acts of service he performed for them over the course of his life. He was buried next to his parents, siblings and other loved ones in a cemetery just outside of town. The link below is a song I wrote for him that he never heard in life, though as he went to heaven, I hope he was singing along.
